Clearer evidence for a question about your workday

Two schedule snapshots are a timeline, not a verdict

Compare before-and-after schedule views while preserving what each version can actually establish.

When a schedule changes, a screenshot can be useful evidence of what you saw. Two screenshots do not automatically tell you who changed the schedule, when the edit happened or whether the work occurred.

Begin with the observation time

In a private record you are allowed to keep, distinguish the date of the assignment from the time you viewed it. A Monday view of a Friday assignment and a Thursday view of that same assignment are two observations. If the second differs, the difference arose sometime between the observations, unless another reliable source narrows that interval.

Keep any visible time zone or version information. Do not crop away the dates needed to understand the comparison. At the same time, avoid retaining unrelated names, site details or other employees’ schedules. Follow workplace rules about screenshots and records; if copying is not permitted, ask how to refer to the existing record instead.

A three-row change log

Before
What the earlier permitted record showed and when you saw it
After
What the later permitted record showed and when you saw it
Unresolved
The single point the two versions cannot establish: effective time, instruction received, correct entry or responsibility for the update

A change log is a comparison device, not an alternate scheduling system. It should never become a reason to disregard a current workplace instruction or postpone a required attendance report.

Fictional case: moved by thirty minutes

Do not merge an offer with a completed assignment

Allied Universal’s public Earn More page describes LISA shift-offer features. A page describing a feature is not your offer, and a saved offer is not proof that you worked it. Keep offer information, any actual confirmation and the resulting time record in distinct slots. Use the current workplace process to establish status.

This publication does not provide screen-by-screen acceptance instructions. Interfaces and availability may depend on the account and assignment. A screenshot from another person cannot establish the controls or permissions present in yours.

Carry the difference into the next record

If the issue becomes a time-record question, carry forward the specific version difference and the relevant dates, not a pile of unlabeled images. If it becomes a payment question, identify the statement period as well. A precise timeline helps the reviewer find the record without asking them to infer your chronology.

Once you have a confirmed answer, preserve its scope: a current schedule confirmation does not necessarily amend an earlier time entry. Continue with matching an adjustment if a correction is later reported.
