You can read every article and use the interval workbench with optional reading storage off.
Open Cookie Settings to review your choice.
The choices
Allow reading storage enables saved article positions. Keep optional reading off leaves that feature disabled. Manage preferences opens the individual control. Closing settings without saving is not consent. Invalid or expired choices default to off.
Cookie Settings is available throughout the publication. Without JavaScript, it opens this policy; use browser site-data controls to remove previously saved records. If your browser blocks storage, the feature reports the restriction and keeps optional behavior off rather than claiming it saved a choice.
Storage inventory
Reading-feature storage
- wer_privacy_v1 · first-party cookie
- Records preference version, reading choice and timestamp after a deliberate saved choice. Maximum 180 days, scoped to this website path. A later choice replaces it; browser site-data controls can remove it.
- wer_reading_v1 · localStorage
- Optional article paths, reading positions and timestamps. Initialized only after reading-position consent, including an empty record on non-article pages. Entries expire after 180 days and are pruned when the feature reads or writes them; at most 30 records are retained by the feature. Rejecting or disabling the option attempts to remove the record. Browsers may retain unused localStorage until it is accessed or removed through browser controls.
- Interval workbench inputs
- Current-page memory only. The interval workbench does not persist inputs or results; Clear inputs empties them.
Other website technologies
The interval workbench and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.
WordPress sign-in and administration may use separate authentication cookies for signed-in users. These reading controls do not remove authentication cookies, email, server logs or records at linked websites. This list describes reading-feature storage and any additional details the publisher has supplied.
What these controls do not do
Reading-preference controls apply only to the reading feature. They do not manage external-service storage, email, infrastructure logs or documents you saved elsewhere. The Privacy Policy identifies the website’s other services and practices.
Withdrawal
Keeping optional reading off stops future reading-position storage and attempts to remove saved positions from this browser. The choice applies to this website path on this browser; another device may have a different choice. The workbench stores no calculation in localStorage or cookies, so its Clear inputs button clears the current calculation independently.
